Aumio 🚀

Aumio is a wholesome, originally German app that is also accessible for the English-speaking market. It was made for infants and kids to help them sleep deeper and better.

Over the course of six months, their team and I collaborated to create seven distinct planets and one magical train station within the Aumio universe, which are available for all curious kids to explore before drifting off to sleep and dreaming about fantastical places. I relied on their already existing branding, color palettes and a rich gallery of magical creatures for inspiration and adapted my own style to fit like a glove and enrich their world.

Sketches

I began by meticulously going over the briefs and sketching each and every significant location on the planets in the Aumio universe.

Aumio and his pals reside on Planet Mindu. The creatures who live there inhabit various items that they have recycled and made into dwellings.

Planet Dinoa, which is a hybrid of an asteroid and a dinosaur, is shown above, while planet Arktos is seen to the right: a massive ball of snow and ice that is covered in frozen animal sculptures.

I used pink numbers as a reference to illustrate all the significant locations on the planets that are mentioned in the Aumio briefs.
